Course title: Basic flow cytometry and cell sorting, theoretical course

Learning objectives: A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:

  • The student will be able to identify, relevant protocols to analyze the samples with, define relevant controls needed for analysis, and understand the limitation of flow cytometry
  • The student will be able to plan their experimental setup for running and analyzing flow cytometry samples, analyze the achieved data, and compare the data to other groups.

Content: The course will take you through the basic knowledge of flow cytometry and cell sorting, how to design and choose the right experiment, and some of the pitfalls in flow cytometry. 

Participants: Technicians, bio analysts, master students, postdocs, and supervisors that need introduction to flow cytometry. No previous skills in flow cytometry are needed, people with previous experience can also benefit from the course.

Number of seats: No limitation, the course have continues enrolment.

Language: English

E-learning course with videos to watch and small test to evaluate yourself. The classroom will be open for 2 month after enrolment
